FATHER TAM CHURCH

Father Tam Church, also known as the Francis Xavier Church, in Cholon is decorated with horizontal lacquered boards and scriptures carved into altar pillars, similar to Chinese temples. On 3rd December 1900, Bishop Mossard of Saigon placed the first stone for the church to be built for the Chinese in Saigon.
